Chansi’s February Newsletter

Chansi’s New York Jets finished the season at 9-7 and in third place in the AFC East. They ranked 9th in the NFL in points per game (25.3), thanks to Chansi’s 32 receptions (6th on the team) for 359 yards (4th on the team) and 3 touchdowns (5th on the team).

“I’m just glad to have a full season under my belt,” says Chansi. “Game action and experience is so significant. Our season definitely wasn’t successful because we didn’t make the playoffs, which is how everyone is judged in the NFL.

During the offseason, Chansi plans to fine tune his skills and add some new dimensions to his game. He’ll be working out with Terrance Mathis and is looking forward to getting in the best shape of his life.

Chansi has never been to an NFL playoff game but says that if his team finishes off the year strong next year, they can make it. “We started so well but ran out of gas this season.”

Chansi is currently relaxing in Atlanta (where he lives during the offseason) and plans to resume working out in mid February. He’s got plans for a special vacation but hasn’t quite decided on the destination yet! His diet gets a little worse while he’s on vacation (like everyone) but once he starts working out, it will be healthy eating again!

If you look closely, you may be able to catch Chansi at some NBA games (the New York Knicks and Orlando Magic in particular when LeBron James comes to town)!

Chansi says that the most interesting encounter he had with a fan this season was at a fundraiser when a fan asked him to sign his truck! Wow...

Chansi is teaming up with the NYC Animal Care and Control Organization to help with their efforts in saving animals. He will participate in an event with them on February 7, 2009. More information about the event will be posted soon.

Chansi thanks you all for supporting him throughout the season and his career! Be sure to keep an eye out for the next newsletter!
